CHURCHILL’S POCKETBOOKS SURGERY 5th Edition

Churchill’s Pocketbooks Surgery 5th Edition is written by specialist surgeons and, to this end, the author asked specialist registrars and junior consultants to take on this task. Autor also has written the general chapters. It is now 20 years since the 1st edition; much has changed in that time, and over the versions, most of the chapters have been updated. The authors of each chapter were given a brief to write material that is medical student friendly as well as suitable for MRCS candidates. In particular, it was decided to emphasize specific points, and to this end, we have added ‘hints and tips’ placed in boxes throughout the chapters.
